Libero – Guitar Duo Sheet Music
$8.99
The Argentinian ‘New Tango’ movement has greatly influenced many composers by departing from traditional tango concepts and incorporating elements of jazz and virtuosic ideas. Libero is no exception. Meaning “free” in Italian, this piece is a collaborative creation by Belgian guitarist Sam Desmet and Venezuelan guitarist Pablo Briceño, who interpret Piazzolla’s legacy uniquely.
Rather than presenting a dialogue, Libero showcases a convergence of a rhythmic main theme supported by a syncopated yet insistent accompaniment, resulting in a vibrant and energetic instrumental piece.
