Guitar Ensemble

Sheet music for guitar ensemble — repertoire arranged with four parts and (optional) bass guitar, scored for guitar quartet, guitar orchestra, and mixed chamber ensembles that include the classical guitar. Every edition is prepared by Dr. Sam Desmet (D.M.A., Florida State University) with modern engraving, clear voicings, and left-hand fingerings suited to intermediate through advanced players. All sheet music comes with a full score, separate parts and (optional) bass guitar part.

The guitar-ensemble catalogue collects two threads of the label’s work. The first is original composition and arrangement written specifically for guitar quartet — pieces like Django Djingle, a rhythmic homage to Django Reinhardt that has become a favourite of student and semi-professional quartets. The second is critical transcription of important 20th- and 21st-century composers whose keyboard or ensemble writing translates naturally to multiple guitars — including Philip Glass’s Truman Sleeps from The Truman Show, arranged with each texture assigned to a distinct guitar voice rather than compressed into a single instrument’s range.

These editions are used in university guitar programs, high school ensemble curricula, community ensembles, and professional chamber projects. All titles ship as PDF downloads with clean engraving, and where a recording exists the product page links directly to the streaming version so ensembles can rehearse against the reference. New guitar-ensemble titles are added occasionally as the arrangement calendar allows — the newsletter (footer of any page on this site) announces additions.
